X pitch helps you pinpoint that sound you need to help with vocals it’s only one plugin light on the cpu. You only pay once. And there excellent staff helps you solve any problems you have.
What can I say it does the job. I’m a music industry professional and many times we get stuck at a “standard” just cause we hear all the time. In one session I pulled this out, and didn’t tell the artist. First thing he said was …”yo I love what you did…what’s new?” It’s a great tool for the tool box.

I’ve been using Antares for about 3 years now. Even with Black Friday deals, the subscription is about 200 CAD a year. I never liked Waves RealTune so I was stuck with it for tracking. Another problem with Antares is: it doesn’t work with low latency mode in Logic Pro.
After seeing some ads for XPitch, I tried the free trial. I am very impressed with the results. It is ultra low latency which is great for live tracking an artist. It also sounds damn near close to Antares’ algorithm. The formant shifter is also useful for effects. The interface is simple and easy to use / automate.
A tip for new users: I find Antares autotune will lower the pitch correction on longer ascending/descending runs. You can adjust this in your DAW via automation and get the same results. A little more work but it gets the job done.
I decided to buy the plugin and none of my artists know that I changed the auto tune. I would recommend this to others! The one-time price is great for bedroom producers.
Finally a plug-in that make that makes mixing that makes mixing as fun as playing. Mixing my own voice is always a struggle. This plug-in makes it really intuitive and fast. and after 30th years of doing this job, I know that it’s the most important thing.
This really is amazing, both in terms of the design, ease of use, functionality, transparency, efficiency, and the easiest downloading process, unlike some others that have wasted my time and tested my patience!
